I’m really glad you are making this movie, and posting to your blog what it’s like to be in the thick of it. It’s nice to see the product of your hard work beside the experience you are having making it. Thanks for sharing.
What timing! This gives me great motivation. I’ve had a couple of ideas floating around in my head and have been on the fence about doing them. Now I’m thinking, “go for it!”
I got to your blog through a twitter about your project from Tiff (aka TheFemGeek) – and I’m so glad I did.
It’s really nice to find another person who is not only making a film and learning how to do so along the way – but they are honest about their learning experience. I think it’s really important for new filmmakers to be open and up-front about how overwhelming it can all be and how much you learn by just doing.
I wish I had made it to SXSW this year to catch your discussion – but I’ll be following the blog updates.
Oh
and it looked like you recorded this on your iSight and that you kept having to move to the mouse every few minutes to keep the screen bright – you should check out http://lightheadsw.com/caffeine – keeps your screen bright when it’s on. Very handy little menubar app.
Keep up the great work!
